4 more

This "frog hunting" thing really helps us put some spunk into our days. The boys look forward to it. They often ask to go "frog hunting" and then we can say, "If you are really nice today maybe we can go." Even though we know we will be going anyway because we look forward to it too. It is exciting to find new frogs and fish! Here are a few more we actually did have to "hunt" for.
We have decided that we like this Statue of Liberty frog much better than the one at Grover Cleveland. This one is at Emerson Gridley Elementary School - 816 Park Ave.

I think that from now on I will include the name that we have given to each frog to save in our files. The names that are sometimes posted by them are really not that exciting. This one's name is Peacock Joe. He was found at St. Joseph's Apartments - 517 Maryland Ave.

This is Tracy Tiger Pants McGee. Found at Tracy Elementary - 2624 W 6th St.

We named this one "Eddie" because we found it at the Washington Educational Center on the first day of preschool. - 148 W 21st St.

Friends with Frogs and Fish

If you submit a picture please check this section to see yourself. We are going to do some reorganizing but "Friends with Frogs and Fish" will stay. Thanks for joining the hunt!

Thanks for finding the frog at the library Rilyn!

Rilyn also found a fish at a Niagra gift store!

Rilyn's daddy even joined in the hunt! This picture is with "stergeon general" in LECOM. Rilyn's daddy is more brave than Andersen's and Miles's dads, or maybe just more fun.

Cassidy and her dad also found the frog at the library!

Thanks Tayla for finding the frog at the zoo! You girls need to teach Andersen and
Miles to smile and look at the camera.

Frog and Fish Hunting! Frogs #6-9.

I think my favorite part of Frog Hunting is capturing the kids in their true state on camera. As hard as we try, we can't get them to to stand by the frogs, smile, and look at the camera all at the same time. It turns out that they look even better doing their own thing and I truly love seeing their personalities shine through the pictures.

Here are a few more we spotted driving down West 10th street. Can you tell us where they are?

The plaque for the fish had worn away so I call this one- The Naked Fish. It is pretty scandlous.

We have no idea who or what the next fish and frog belong to. We should've asked the strange man in a top hat wandering around the field where the statues are.

Rainbow Fish.

We found this one thanks to Karen M. at Romolo's. It is my favorite!

This is Rosie. She is the first female frog that we have hunted!

This is the happy little frog we found at Shriner's Hospital. I like it because it has some sweet pictures of frogs doing all sorts of friendly kids activities painted on the frog's back.

We spotted this one in front of a lovely little art shop. The babies got in on the action this time! They were totally excited.

Be on the look out for more frogs!
Happy Hunting!
